Jieyu Zheng 郑杰予

Jieyu Zheng, born in Sichuan and raised in Chongqing, earned her Bachelor’s degree from Hefei University of Technology and her Master’s from Fujian Normal University. In 2024, she joined Westlake University to pursue her PhD under Prof. Jingyi Tian. Her research focuses on enhancing on-chip photodetectors through metasurface integration, exploring nanoscale light-matter interactions and optoelectronic coupling mechanisms. Passionate about advancing nanophotonics, Jieyu balances her scientific pursuits with an active lifestyle, enjoying sports and music. Her motto, “Life is an adventure,” reflects her enthusiasm for discovery and continuous learning.
